JOY School

J.O.Y. Stands For – Jesus First, Others Second, Yourself Last. The Pawleys Island J.O.Y. School provides important support for children with disabilities during the Summer, providing an important bridge while school is out of session.  The J.O.Y School operates a 6 days per week, 5 hours per day program during the Summer. Children come from local countries and others from far away with their vacationing families. No child is turned away. No matter the severity of his/her disabilities. There is no tuition at this time because of the care and love for those who service and give to support and be a part of it. A well-qualified director, nurses in training, progressional therapists, local youth volunteers, visiting church youth groups and the most caring and loving staff of professionally trained men and women return every year and work tirelessly to ensure the school’s success.

For more information, check out the JOY School website.
